One day, Jaya hopes to be working under Churni Ganguly's directorship.

The upcoming movie "Ardhangini" starring Jaya Ahsan will debut on June 2 in India. Jaya will play the lead in the Kaushik Ganguly-directed film. Jaya and Churni Ganguly are on screen together in this movie.

 

Jaya recently expressed her desire to work with Churni Ganguly, who is a master director, in an interview. 
"Churni Ganguly is a director I admire in addition to being an actor. I hope to work for her in the future. Although Kaushik da (Kaushik Ganguly) has a thorough understanding of the psychology of women, viewing women from a woman's perspective adds a new dimension. My desire to collaborate with Churni di has gotten stronger after watching her films like "Nirbashito" and "Tarikh," said Jaya.

Churni Ganguly expressed her enthusiasm for working with Jaya in response to Churni's admiration and interest. Churni expressed her great admiration for Jaya as an actress, but she did not specify when this collaboration might take place.

"When I direct, I fall in love with my actors and actresses. In 'Bisarjan', Kaushik only gave me the remaining scenes after shooting, so my love for Jaya is already there. We will work together someday," she said. 

"Ardhangini" shows the stark reality of human relationships. The plot explores two women's positions in a person's life. A man (Kaushik) divorces his first wife (Churni) after a long marriage. Then he marries another woman (Jaya). 

The man suddenly falls into a coma, due to an accident. A complicated situation arises where his current wife (Jaya) runs to his previous wife (Churni) for help. A different kind of chemistry takes place between these two women over a man. 

After "Bishorjon" and "Bijoya," this is the third time Jaya and Kaushik are working together. The film also features Kaushik Sen and Ambarish Bhattacharya.
