Porshi confirms her marriage

Amid rumours circulating online regarding her marriage, singer Sabrina Porshi, reportedly married Niloy, a Bangladeshi expatriate living in the US. 

 

"On March 4, 2024, Niloy came to Bangladesh from the United States for just a few days. During this time, with the consent of both families, our Nikah ceremony was completed," wrote Porshi. 

She continues, "Since we are currently living in two different parts of the world, and considering the love and expectations of our families, relatives, and well-wishers, we wanted to host a proper event to share the news with everyone. However, as the news has already spread, I feel a bit awkward but also happy." 

The singer first met Niloy as contestants in the 2008 'Khude Gaanraj' competition. Niloy moved to New York in 2010 with his family. Last year, Niloy's family visited Bangladesh, and discussions between the families led to a private wedding ceremony attended by close relatives.
