Pori Moni’s Tollywood debut tomorrow

Bangladeshi actress Pori moni is set to make her Kolkata debut with the film "Felubakshi", scheduled to release tomorrow, January 17.

Directed by Debraj Sinha, Pori Moni stars as Labonya in this thriller, alongside Soham Chakraborty and Madhumita Sarcar. Due to visa complications, the actress was unable to travel to India for the film's promotions.

Speaking about her role, Pori Moni shared, "When I read the character of Labonya, I felt confident that I could portray it well. That's why I took on this role. Whether I have done justice to it or not is up to the audience to decide. The moment I heard about this character, I couldn't say no."

In the film, Soham Chakraborty plays the titular role of "Felubakshi", a smart and tech-savvy Bengali who loves food and solving mysteries. At the centre of one such mystery is Labonya, portrayed by Pori Moni.
