Anne Hathaway to return for Princess Diaries 3

Anne Hathaway finally confirmed her return to the role of Mia Thermopolis in the upcoming release, 'Princess Diaries 3'.

 

Hathaway confirmed the news through a post on social media about the director of the upcoming film, Adele Lim, with the caption, "Miracles happen."

Adele Lim, who is now at the helm of the project, is known for her past works such as 'Crazy Rich Asians,' and 'Joy Ride'. A lifelong fan of the original films, Lim expressed excitement about continuing the beloved franchise. 

Debra Martin Chase, the producer behind the first two films, is also onboard, alongside executive producers Naia Cucukov and Melissa Stack. Flora Greeson is writing the script. While plot details remain under wraps, the film will follow the storylines of the first two films rather than rebooting the series.
