The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Thursday announced their 16-member squad for the upcoming two-match Test series against India, including uncapped wicketkeeper-batter Jaker Ali Anik.
Jaker replaces pacer Shoriful Islam, marking the only change from Bangladesh's last successful Test series against Pakistan, which the Tigers won 2-0 earlier this month. Shoriful, who sustained a groin injury during the first Test in Rawalpindi, missed the second match.
The squad is scheduled to depart for India on September 15. The first Test will take place in Chennai, starting on September 19, followed by the second Test in Kanpur from September 27. Both matches are part of the World Test Championship.
