PM Hasina expresses shock and sorrow at deaths and injuries from Uttara accident

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina yesterday (August 15, 2022) expressed shock and sorrow at the deaths and injuries from an accident that happened after  the segment of a viaduct meant for the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) fell from a crane on a private car at Uttara in the capital.

At least five people, including two children, were dead and another two were injured in the accident, police said.

The prime minister prayed for the salvation of the departed souls and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family.
