Continue cooperating with civil admin, people with patience

Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman has asked all army personnel to continue cooperating the civil administration and the general public with patience and professionalism.

He said this while visiting the 7th Infantry Division and Barisal Area on Tuesday, according to a press release issued by the Inter Services Public Relations Directorate (ISPR).

General Waker expressed confidence that every designated army officials would exercise their magisterial power conferred by the state responsibly as a testament to the trust placed in them by the people.

In his speech, he highlighted that the Bangladesh Army’s dedicated efforts contributed significantly to the improvement of the law and order situation across the country.

The army chief also emphasised the importance of being prepared to tackle the challenges of the 21st century through modern and comprehensive trainings.

Additionally, General Waker inspected and monitored the progress of various ongoing development projects within the Seventh Infantry Division and the newly established cantonment.

Senior military officers from headquarters and the Barisal region, along with junior commissioned officers, soldiers of different ranks, and civil officials, were present during the army chief’s visit.
