Kushum Shikder’s ‘Shoroter Joba’ to stream on iScreen from next week

Kushum Shikder's directorial debut "Shoroter Joba", which premiered in local theatres on October 11, is now making its way to the OTT platform iScreen.
Known for resonating with multiplex audiences, the film will be available for streaming starting at 3pm on December 12. Fans can watch the movie by subscribing for just Tk 20, according to iScreen.
During an appearance on the "Taroka Kothon" show aired by Channel i, Kushum Shikder announced the film's OTT release, confirming the news of its streaming on iScreen.
"Shoroter Joba" is adapted from Kushum Shikder's book "Ojagotik Chaya", a mystery-thriller published by Tamralipi Publications during the 2021 Ekushey Book Fair.
The film, produced by Impress Telefilm and Pohor Danga Pictures, tells the eerie and gripping story of a solitary woman, Joba, whose life is surrounded by mystery, heartbreak, and unexpected deaths. Throughout the film, the audience is left questioning whether Joba is a killer or if some unseen force is guiding her actions.
"Shoroter Joba" features a strong supporting cast, including Yash Rohan, Nidra Dey Neha, Jeetu Ahsan, Shahidul Alam Sachchu, Naresh Bhuiyan, Mahmudul Islam Mithu, and Ashok Bepari.
Suman Dhar served as the advisory director, and the film was co-produced by Kushum Shikder and Faridur Reza Sagar.
