Arnob brings out a special surprise for fans

Shayan Chowdhury Arnob is best known as a musician, penning lyrics, composing tunes, arranging music, and performing his songs.

Beyond his musical prowess, he is also admired as a painter and his artistry has been extending seamlessly onto the canvas.

This year, Arnob is embarking on a new creative journey by stepping into the realm of literature. For the first time, he will appear as an author at this year's Ekushey Boi Mela

The book he authored has been titled after one of his popular songs "Hok Kolorob", and will be published by Legend Publication. The cover has been illustrated by Arnob's father, artist Swapan Chowdhury. 

It has been revealed that the book includes songs composed by Arnob, along with the stories behind their creation. To make it accessible to international audiences, each song is accompanied by its English translation alongside the original Bangla lyrics. 

Regarding the book, Arnob told local media, "I have long wanted to publish a book featuring my composed songs, including their English translations, so that listeners can connect more deeply with my music. This year, my songbook 'Hok Kolorob' will be released at the Amar Ekushey Boi Mela."

The publisher of the book revealed, "An artiste's creations often serve as reflections of their life, eliminating the need for a separate biography. 'Hok Kolorob' is one such subtle biography, where Arnob's life story unfolds through the words of his songs."
