Tahsan releases new song amid marriage buzz

Renowned singer Tahsan Rahman Khan has released a new song following discussions about his marriage, titled "Eka Ghor Amar"

The track was unveiled at a restaurant in Gulshan 1 on Monday night.

As expected, questions about his marriage arose during the song launch.

Responding to a journalist's query, Tahsan said: “I am an ordinary person. I don’t want this topic to become a national issue. However, since you asked about my feelings regarding marriage, I’ll say it’s an extraordinary experience.”

Tahsan expressed gratitude for the love from his well-wishers, saying: “I’m truly delighted to receive so much affection. Negativity exists in every country, but in ours, it gets amplified for attention. My job is to make music, and I’ll continue doing that. Like anyone else, marriage is just a part of my personal life. As an artist, people are curious about my personal affairs. That’s why I didn’t want to hide something as significant as marriage. Beyond this, I have nothing more to say.”

Tahsan further addressed the buzz surrounding him and his spouse on social media, saying: “Our people have a strong sense of humor and as a nation, we tend to be quite judgmental. Some individuals are overly invested in dissecting everything. This shouldn’t be the case. Dwelling on such matters makes progress difficult."

He said: "My focus remains on creating music. If opportunities for acting arise, I’ll consider them. This year, I have planned several songs and am working toward realizing those plans.”

The song “Eka Ghor Amar”, written and composed by Tahsan, was released under Anupam Recording.

The song features vocals by Tahsan alongside Sithi Saha.

The musical arrangement was done by Sajid Sarkar.

At the event, Tahsan said: “Every year, I plan my work. This year, I’ve planned many more songs. Among them, four have been completed, and "Eka Ghor Amar" has now been released. This song will endure. It may not create a nationwide frenzy, but it will live on.”
