US warplanes attack Iran-backed Huthi targets in Yemen: Pentagon

US warplanes staged multiple strikes Saturday night against Iran-backed Huthi advanced weapons storage facilities in Yemen, the Pentagon said.
The weapons were being used to attack military and civilian vessels in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, a US defense official told AFP on background.
