Bangladesh Coast Guard (BCG) on Sunday found three more bodies of fishermen from the Bay of Bengal, two days after a trawler capsized due to the ongoing low depression.
The deceased were identified as Hossain Ahmed, Absar, and Azizul Haque.
So far, five bodies have been found after BCG started their rescue operation, said the fishing trawler’s owner Zaker Hossain.
Local representative Anwar Hossain said the deceased fishermen lived in Cox's Bazar's Khurushkul area.
The fishing trawler, MB Mayer Dua, carrying 19 fishermen capsized due to unrest in the sea at Najiratek Channel on Friday.
BCG members managed to rescue 8 fishermen and three others were able to swim to safety while the rest went missing.
