Sonakshi to tie the knot with Zaheer Iqbal this month

Get ready for another Bollywood wedding! Actor Sonakshi Sinha is reportedly set to tie the knot with her beau, actor Zaheer Iqbal, on June 23 in Mumbai, according to India Today.

While Sonakshi and Zaheer have maintained a low profile about their relationship, their frequent appearances together and affectionate social media posts have hinted at their strong bond. Earlier this month, Zaheer shared adorable photos of the couple on Sonakshi’s birthday, captioning it “Happy Birthday Sonzzz.”

The wedding guest list reportedly includes close friends, family members, and reportedly, the entire cast of Heeramandi. The wedding invitation resembles a magazine cover with the text “the rumours are true.” Guests are requested to dress formally for the ceremony, which will take place at Bastian in Mumbai.

Recently, during an episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show, which featured the ladies from “Heermandi” as guests, Kapil Sharma had asked Sonakshi about her marriage plans, mentioning Alia Bhatt and Kiara Advani recently tied the knot. Sonakshi jokingly said, “Jale par namak chidak rahe ho,” adding that she badly wants to get married.

Sonakshi reportedly met Zaheer through Salman Khan. Their friendship blossomed into love, and the lovebirds are often spotted together. The duo was seen together in the film “Double XL”. It was directed by Satram Ramani and also featured Huma Qureshi in the pivotal role. Zaheer made his Bollywood debut in 2019 with the romantic drama film “Notebook”, produced by Salman Khan. In the movie, he was paired opposite Pranutan Bahal, the granddaughter of the late legendary actress Nutan.
