Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) president Tabith Awal on Wednesday met with Leicester City midfielder Hamza Choudhury and his parents at the King Power Stadium, the home ground of the Premier League side.
Hamza, a player of Bangladeshi origin, was cleared to represent Bangladesh by FIFA in December last year.
Last night, Tabith, along with Hamza's parents, enjoyed the game between Leicester and Crystal Palace -- a game that the home side lost 2-0, with Hamza not making an appearance after starting the match on the bench.
After the game, Tabith had dinner with Hamza and, according to the BFF media wing, the 27-year-old midfielder expressed his 'deep interest' in representing Bangladesh.
Hamza could feature for Bangladesh when they take on India in the upcoming Asian Cup qualifiers in March this year.
