FM to pay 3-day visit to Saudi Arabia

Foreign Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud will pay an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 1 to 3 July to discuss with high government leaders wide-ranging issues of regional and global development and of bilateral, economic, manpower, and energy partnerships.
During the visit, the foreign minister will lead the Bangladeshi delegation for the second round of political consultations with Saudi Arabia.
Hasan Mahmud is expected to discuss with his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, the Saudi Foreign Minister, wide-ranging issues of regional and global development and of bilateral, economic, manpower, and energy partnerships.
It is also hoped that the foreign minister will exchange views with the members of the diaspora during this visit.
This Consultation will also be attended by Salman F Rahman, Advisor to the Prime Minister for Private Industry and Investment, Additional Foreign Secretary (Bilateral-East and West), Inspector General of Missions, Bangladesh Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Director Generals of the Foreign Minister’s Office and West Asia Wing of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, among others.
This visit will provide an opportunity to review the entire spectrum of partnerships between Bangladesh and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
