One of the biggest rivalries in world football could be coming to an end and it's not about clubs or national teams.

The rivalry between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi is a special chapter in the history of modern football and could now have a fresh chapter.

A rumor has emerged that a very wealthy team is planning to bring the Argentina and the Portuguese together for the first time ever, which would undoubtedly be a real bombshell due to their stature and what both mean in the world of football.

According to the Saudi Arabian press and journalist Abdulaziz Al-Tamimi, Inter Miami, the team where Messi currently plays, has contacted Ronaldo to ask him about the possibility of joining their MLS project.

The Florida team's interest in having the former Real Madrid and Manchester United man in their ranks would not be for the next season, but rather for the future, as they would be looking to sign him for 2025, the year in which CR7 will be 40 years old.
